The turtles are an original band, a one of a kind. The energy that they bring to the crowd and what the crowd brings is just a great combo. ln the past two years (as longs as I'v known them) they have excelled so much!!!! There is nothing out there like Blue Turtle Seduction. From the moment they play their first note to the moment they walk off stage, you can't help but dance as hard as you can possibly dance, all while listening to some of the most poetic and thought-provoking lyrics you've ever heard. I've been to so many shows in the last 20 years, I don't remember how many (not bragging, just making a point)... I've seen Blue Turtle Seduction Live three times now and I they always seem to amaze me. Very tight harmonies.. finally a band that all sings. First time I saw them, it was more of Bluegrass Hip-Hop? It's changed a bit, but it's still there. I can't really explain it. Also, they have a Mandolin player, what more do you want. Overall a lot of fun, thanks Blue Turtle. (Oh ya, Fuzzy Logic says hey! There is something so special with Blue Turtle Seduction...Ya just can't call it, right off...A sense of purity, fluidity, dynamics are vast & their changes are fun & alluring across the board...Oh did I mention, Ya just freak out on the Dance Floor & just Shake What cha got !!!! at a blue turtle show you can look around the room and see the young and old, liberal and conservative, all together having fun dancing and moving to the unique sound of this up and coming band. to put their music into a genre is difficult if not downright impossible because they draw influences from such a variety of genres and combine them all into an original, upbeat sound. all i can say is come see a show! you won't regret it. hope to see you alll at the next show near you. - tistrya - Tistrya , posted 03/03/06 |
