I always have my tastebuds tantalized at Urban Cafe, regardless of what I order. My favorite sandwich is the Spicy Chicken, which has a mild grilled cajun chicken breast with melted monterey jack cheese, a corn and bean salsa and avocado, served on a focaccia pita. What truly MAKES this sandwich, however, is the delicious chipotle mayonaise. I would highly recommend asking for some extra on the side. The sandwiches are served with a yummy side salad of mixed greens with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, mandarin oranges and goat cheese. My favorite salad is the Urban Cafe Salad. It has mixed greens tossed with avocado, chicken, pears, pecans, goat cheese, your choice of dressing, and a couple small wedges of the bread. In my opinion, the balsamic dressing is best on this salad too. I would recommend going at off-peak hours, or as I always do, calling ahead. They are quite popular. - Ilse , posted 04/30/05 |
