If you consider yourself any kind of decent poker player then this is the place for you. The players are are all regulars and all awful. I played there for years and made tons of money. The Monday and Saturday games are 1-3-5 to go but play like any 5-10 game in Vegas. lots of loose calls and just plain pitiful play. If you can get there then do it. - Tri2BluffMe , posted 02/23/08 |

the people are friendly..but watch yourself..hardly any fish here. they play friendly,, relaxed games.. the tourneys are fun..and not too expensive.. usually only around 30-40 sign up for them. The live games are harsh..don't go in there thinking you are the best..you will learn real quick that you're not, lol. anyways. if you're in chico Ca. and want to play poker..no need to drive to colusa or oroville when angie's is right there. - randy , posted 05/14/06 |

 Angie's Poker Club in Chico, CA is a great card room. There is tons of action, the players and dealers are friendly and the pots get HUGE. They are located on Park Ave and W. 15th Street in Chico. Here's what their schedule looks like: - ALL games are Texas Hold'em, unless otherwise noted. Tournaments - Mon-Sun (11:00 AM) 20 buy-in (5.00 is entry fee, 15.00 goes into main pot) Sat / Sun (6:00PM) - get their early or call in to reserve seat, seats go by fast. 32.00 buy-in, 7.00 of it is an entry fee. Live (Cash games) M-F "Day Game" - follows the 11AM tournie is a 2-4 straight limit game. Monday Night (starts at 6:00PM)- NO-Limit, 100.00 MINIMUM buy-in - - - This is a killer game! You have to check it out. Tuesday Night (6:00PM)- 2-4, 2-8 Spread limit with a 1/2 Kill. Great game, if you like limit poker. 20.00 min. buy in Wednesday Night (6:00PM) - Omaha hi/lo, 2-4, 2-8 Spread limit, 8-Qualifier. They will also spread a 2-4, 2-8 Limit game for Texas Hold'em. 20.00 min. buy in Thursday Night (6:00PM) - 7-Card Stud Hi/Lo (with enough interest), 2-4, 2-8...8 qualifier. Otherwise its 2-4, 2-8 Hold'em spread limit. 20.00 min. buy in Friday (6:00 PM) - 6-12 straight limit Hold'em...
