Agreed, Preston. I wouldn't say beer is beer, but in So Cal, Stone Brewing is closer. Maybe you can't spend your evenings there, but you can get a fresh Arrogant Bastard & that more than makes up for it. -  Meg

I do love the local brews--Humboldt is full of good local beers. The shows are alright, depending on what kind of music you like. They do have karaoke, which is fun to watch while you are playing pool. Good grub, good beer.... - ashley , posted 05/09/06 |

Humboldt Brews has music almost EVERY NIGHT! Check thier website for the schedule. They have 13 constantly changing beers on tap. They have TALL-BOY PBR's and other cans / bottles. Salads, great burgers (try the "Loadie Burger") and they were the FIRST place in Humboldt County to have Buffalo wings. The wings come in about 5 different heats too, so try to burn your head off, they can! Don't forget thay have a pinball machine, a couple video games (Mrs. Pacman!) and TWO pool tables.
