Interesting Album.
Check out the song that slowly revolves around a riff from "The Model"
by Kraftwerk. Number 6? 7?
Something...once it's pointed out you'll notice it. - Ben , posted 05/18/08

Exquisite production and musicality
Wonderful project and wonderful execution. At first I wasn't quite into it, and had trouble discerning the differences between tunes- found i craved more delays and dubbed out Gaudi trademarks. However, it grew on me. After about the 5th listen i was hooked, and I found the beautiful melodies haunting my mind when I was silent.. I greatly appreciated the production and understand how/why Gaudi just filled in the backgrounds and bass, and didn't 'up-stage' the original musicians. I would like to hear some of the more electronic remixes of these songs too- like the more edgy experimental versions-- but for what it is.. this album rocks my world. :)

check out Gaudi's video for one of the songs on this album:

dubbed out refreshing album to chill too
this album is great, nusrat fateh ali khan is the legend of Qawwali Music, this music spread the messages of peace love & Tranquility originating over 700 years to the spiritual samah songs of Persia and the mystical faith of Sufism.
it is the tenth anniversary of Khan's death and to commerate this , six degrees presents some of his early work from the 60 & 70's dubbed out by Gaudi, the man who brought you Bass sweat & Tears off of one of my favorite labels interchill!! this is a real nice listen and way worth checking out!! if your a fan of dub, or Khan's work definately check it out!! favorite track is #4 , the tune has a familuar melody as they incorporate some kraftwerk elements into it!! - Chlorophil , posted 08/03/07
