AH-mazing! This company put innovative design, love of performance gear, and a lotta heart in their product... The end result? A sturdy, bright, colorful, versatile, envrionmentally friendly, and fun LED toys to play with in practice and performance. The wonderful people at Flow Toys are also very customer service oriented so if you have comments, ideas, questions, or problems, they are quick to respond and support any inquiry. The only caution I would put with the FlowPoi Duo is that it's not for the beginner. The FlowPoi (single lights) would be better for someone starting out simply because the tubes which protect the LED lights do not feel good when they hit you (and starting out, be prepared to hit yourself quite a bit). The only other thing I would advise is to use rechargeable AAA batteries as compared to regular batteries which you burn through them quickly. The best part about Flow Toys is that you can take the lights out of your poi and slip them into a different set of poi (single, double, or tripple flowlight, like non-fire snakes, poi), double short staves, long staff, scrima, knunchucks, light-dart, or create your own toy. Convert one toy into another for very little expense (these are extremely affordable... a flowlight-ready, empty staff rig is $19.95!) and have the whole performance set!
