excellent tasting food, very reasonable, staff is personable and food is served surprisingly fast every time, also very clean and ambient atmosphere. popular with the local college students for their fresh fruit margaritas- ive only had the blueberry and it was amazing. make sure to order the house tequila with it though, anything less can not compare to how authentically drunk you will feel from just one fine shot of asombroso. makre sure to try the chimichangas and the horchata, and relax in the cozy lounge / bar area in the back- open pretty late. cheapest full meal 6.75, side dishes and stuff are a little cheaper, but some meals are as expensive as 10 or 12 bucks- the menu is long so its more about budgeting for your drinks, which can be about that same price. theres also little kids toys to play with so you can make it a family affair. 3525 Janes Rd Arcata, CA 95521 707-822-4600 - mary jane , posted 02/14/07 |
