I just signed up for an affiliate program, which allows us to raise money through various businesses.
I only chose a couple, to keep away from big corporations and such, and you can check it out at northcoastearthfirst.org/NCEFd...s.htm.
Netflix will give us $9 per person for everyone who signs up for a free trial through our website! They have a ton of movies available for instant viewing, and I especially like all the nature and history documentaries they have available. The DVD rental system has a fast return rate, with no late fees and free shipping both ways.
The other affiliate program I signed up for is with Rifftrax.com, by Mike Nelson of Mystery Science Theater 3000. Mike and his friends are making hilarious commentaries for modern films, and even the "Lost" tv show, so you can help support his work and North Coast Earth First!, at the same time, and enjoy some good laughs while you're at it:)
The final affiliate link that we have is with LinkShare.com, the folks who bring all these affiliate programs together into one website. NCEF! gets $1.50 for every person who signs up through our website, so you, too, can raise funds for your cause in a similar way.
