I am seeking a female roommate bet 25 and 35 to move into a 2+2 with me in the Culver City, Mar Vista, Palms, Venice, West LA, or Santa Monica areas around June 1-15. I am wishing for someone nice, kind, honest, not insecure, not overly talkative, not angry or bitter, loves cats, is a professional, clean, mellow, respectful, sane.
About me: 33, employed as Business Development Manager at a marketing research firm in Culver City that is ranked among the top 25 research firms in the U.S., graduated from CSUN in 2002. Prior to this position, I was self-employed and had lived for 14 years in the same apartment in West LA. I am a spiritual person, kind, compassionate, love animals, easy to get along with, clean. In my spare time, I like to draw, paint, read books, watch a little TV but not a lot, go out dancing, and dream up new business ideas. What inspires me to work is to one day be able to do something about the atrocities I witness going on in the world.
About my cats: I have 4 of them, and while that sounds like a lot at first, when you're around them it doesn't seem that way. 3 of them are older (13 years) and 1 is the baby of another 1 (he's 8 years). The baby is very shy and doesn't come out much, so it seems like there's only 3. Mostly they just sleep and want attention. 3 of them are shaved in the summer months so they don't shed as much. They're very well-behaved, very sweet, and much loved. My house does NOT smell like a cat box because I clean up after them every day, and I own my own carpet cleaner.
If me and my "kids" sounds tolerable to you, please let me know if you'd be willing to meet and see if the chemistry (for lack of a better word) is there for us to be not only roommates, but friends also, because that's important to me. Please respond with a photo, as I've attached mine, and with a bit more about you, such as what you do for a living, what you enjoy doing in your spare time, what inspires you to work?
