METAMORPHOSIS: When a crawling caterpillar transforms into a winged butterfly it undergoes a radical change not just in body form, but also in lifestyle including how it moves, what it eats, how it senses its environment.
We, the human species, are also undergoing a METAMORPHOSIS. In order to maintain our presence on the planet we are learning that we are needing to radically change many of our ways. DreamingBear Baraka Kanaan is an internationally renowned spoken word artist, author, and peace advocate who elegantly blends quantum understandings of the universe with inner expressions of the heart. He is the founder of The Lovevolution Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering personal and universal transformation through the embodiment of unconditional love.

The foundation for DreamingBear’s work as a transformational spoken word artist is deeply personal. Born to a runaway teenage mother and refugee father, he survived through years of poverty and abuse. When he was eight years old, he witnessed the death of his brother and the kidnapping of his sister. To cope with an overwhelming sense of pain and loss, he began to write, beginning the alchemical inspiration for his metamorphosis and spiritual discovery.
His work was further defined by years spent living in the wilderness, alone and without all the conveniences a modern life provides. While in a deep communion with nature he began to take his poetry to a new level and developed many of the works that have proven to be inspiring to so many. Upon recognizing a great need for humanity to converge more deeply with the natural world, DreamingBear went on to spend many years of his life living off the grid making nature his canvas of choice as he sought to create poetry to inspire a higher level of consciousness. DreamingBear has traveled the world extensively, sharing his message of unconditional love and fulfillment of personal potential with audiences as diverse as international dignitaries, corporate groups, and third world refugees. DreamingBear holds a master’s degree in communications and is the author of Wild Love: Kissed Into Consciousness in addition to two spoken word CD’s. DreamingBear is a frequent guest in the media and was featured in Without Walls, a documentary on peace in the Middle East. A former college professor, he is now an acclaimed keynote speaker conducting seminars, playshops, and inspired gatherings worldwide.
ESSENE PRIESTESS HEATHER SALMON
Heather considers herself to be a Spiritual Midwife to the New Earth -- an Environmentally Sustainable, Socially Just and Spiritually Fulfilled World. She is an ordained Essene High Priestess and is certified in numerous healing arts including Reflexology, Hypnotherapy, Transpersonal Healing, Sound Healing, Reiki, Aromatherapy, Crystal Healing and Hawaiian Huna and has over 27 years experience in applied regenerative healing practices. Born in Toronto, Canada and of Jamacian and Celtic decent, Heather was raised by Canada's first modern day black surgeon Dr. J. Douglas Salmon and mother, Beverley N. Salmon who was a civil rights leader, politician, Human Rights Commissioner as well as a leader and a shaper of Toronto's diverse rich multicultural community. Heather (44) currently resides at Harbin Hot Springs (www.Harbin.org) which is an intentional community and retreat center with about 200 residents in Northern California. She is an active global presenter for the Pachamama Alliance's "Awakening the Dreamer Symposim" and she facilitates many gatherings at Harbin Hot Springs including a monthly New Moon Sound and Energy Ceremony for World Peace in the Heart Consciousness Church Temple. She has an extensive and rich background in being an agent of change from being a performer to a producer including having been an international events producer for the NBA, IIAF World Indoor Track & Field Championships as well as Canada's Grey Cup. She has also been a professional model and Hollywood actress and has made dozens of television appearances. Her current passion is sharing sound healing and optimal regenerative lifestlye practices including becoming re-tuned to nature through sacred ceremony and observation of natural cycles and the movement of the cosmos. She offers group healing ceremonies as well as private counciling which is available upon request.
