About SACRED LOVE SONGS:
"The music is an other-worldly mix of devotional sufi poetry sung through the pipes of an opera singer, with harp, tabla, cello, viola, violin, upright bass, and the duet vocals of Shafqat Ali Khan and Sukhawat Ali Khan. The songs absolutely transport you to pure bliss."
- Robin Livingston, Bhakti Brothers, Producer of MC YOGI
CAROLUNA's SACRED LOVE SONGS originated through her spiritual practice. The songs are composed in the raga, Yaman Kalyani, an Indian classical music scale which is to be performed starting at dusk or night time - Twilight music. Sacred texts from renown mystics, are incorporated in this work. The songs speak of divine love, grace, spiritual ecstasy and deepest longing.
