Hello all! As usual for some of our best underground parties, we announce them only a little time before the date and this is no different. We are at it again with our first party of the year and we are gonna serve it up home style with our in house talent, some of which you saw at the Winter Whiteout party last month. There will also be a couple of other local heroes from the east bay. We also have the honor of using a hugemongus sound system that has been at our space for a bit so it will be fun to feel the thump at this one:) I also want to thank you all again for being so protective of our space and only bringing the finest of fine people in to our home and our lives.
YOU ALL ROCK!!! So without further ado, let me announce our next party!! Yeah!
JANUARY 19th!! This Saturday! 10-6, yeah we like to keep regular hours.
$5-10 sliding scale for all our lovable but broke peoples who can't afford to donate 10 whole friggin dollars to our cause to keep up the most expensive rent any of us have ever experienced, but no we don't want any more room mates. We will happily struggle and bring you wonderful parties and try to make it work on our own terms. Love you.
Talent: Dr. Ashley Albritton, Dj Inexplicable, Mikey, Brian of Soft Target and Bottom feeder, and others TBA.
We are gonna ease into this year with our 08 Breakout party so the theme is....
THEME: Meet and greet your tribe!
Bring a friend who you think is really cool, smart, funky, has a weird hairdo, some cool mutant ability, dresses like they are from a different century, likes to get freaky in a huge pillow fights, you get the idea.
Just bring someone who hasn't been to our spot that you think deserves to meet other really cool kids at our underground family spot.
That about wraps up this latest news. Don't forget to mark your calendars for our next big event
March 8th, international woman's day! Its gonna be big! Good music, performance art, catered food, and all night comfort for you, our guest of honor!
